Finally, Spring and warm weather is here! Time to dust off the bike and go for a ride!
Last October we purchased a 1993 1500 Gold Wing and now after the long winter we can finally take it out for a ride. It was driving me crazy. Having this beautiful bike and not able to ride it. I walked out to the garage, looked at the bike, then looked at the snow on the ground, shook my head and walked back to the house.
Well like they say, Patience is a Virtue. Until next month, be safe and enjoy the road.

There was this bunny, hopping down the trail after three Playboy Bunnies.....oops wrong story...
The Riff Raff had their traditional Easter Egg hunt. Immediately after our meeting at the Hamilton Family Restaurant, we headed towards the first stop, the Medic Station. Lou, our fearless leader was in the lead providing great directions - as long as you had your CB turned off. He was followed by his nephew, Josh on Lou's old 1200. Josh was having a great time. You could literally hear it in his voice... |

As we start the new riding season, we need to be aware of our environment and all the changes that are happening around us. As everything begins to awaken from their long winter sleep, we are thankful for all the beauty around us. We go on rides to see all this and we enjoy being close to nature on our bikes. We need to be aware that on these rides we are constantly being bombarded with distractions. This happens every time we turn our head and draw attention away from what we are suppose to be doing, watching the road ahead, to the seeing the beautiful sights around us. |
