A Memorable Memorial Trip

On Saturday, May 29th, Lu & I and Myk & Susie rode down to Arlington, VA to participate in “Rolling Thunder.” Now for those of you who don’t know what this is, it is a ride to honor our military and especially our fallen heroes. We arrived at our hotel at 4:00 PM and checked in. There were a lot of other bikers from different states in the same hotel. Some from Buffalo, NY and even some from North Carolina, and they were all there for the same reason.

The morning started out early at the Coop for breakfast. Ten of us had breakfast and then there was Josh who showed up just before we were ready to pull out. We got to Scott's and got everything set up with the usual problems and one new one - there was no weenie wagon this year. So we had a grill and a hot dog rotation device. It was definitely something new for us. We got it all set up and then decided that it needed to be changed around and set up again. Things were going well until we ran out of propane and Lu had to play frogger across the highway. He made it back safe and sound.

Open House – Part Two
Written by Administrator
Tuesday, 08 June 2010
Saturday May 1st was Scott's Open House and believe it or not it was a beautiful sunny day. There were a lot of people there and the day was very busy and the sales dept. was hopping – even my 7 ½ year old nephew bought a helmet for his first ride with Grandpa. Lu showed off his new project. He made another trailer for our bike in the shape of my Jeep Liberty. We will be taking it to the Rally this year in Michigan. Can’t wait!
