On Saturday March 20th, Lu informed me that he was taking me to the Vintage Restaurant in NJ on Sunday for my Birthday. He called Saturday night at my request to see if we needed reservations and found out there was a party of 80 coming in on Sunday. So he decided to take me to Mount Airy Lodge to the Casinos. They have a brunch buffet that goes from 11-3 and that there were four other restaurants in case they were full. So we started off on Sunday around 11:30.

We had our last 2 nights of bowling this year - both on the 27th of the month. Some of us met at Miller’s Diner for supper. Food was very good and so was the service. We got out in plenty of time to go bowling. Pleasant people as well so we will definitely go there again. Maybe for an Informal Dinner, who knows?. Anyways, at February bowling we had to wait a little for the lanes but not in March. Susie tried to order some supper but halfway through the second game she found out they never put her order in and it would be about an hour because a lot of orders were ahead of hers. We’re thinking about checking into other places for bowling! Just don’t get the feeling that they care whether we are there or not. We will talk about this more at the next meeting.

On February 28th, 4 Riff Raff Riders joined Chapter B at the Meadowbrook Country Club for a Cards and Dish day. There were about 20 people there as well as lots of food, of course. We played a game called “Screw your Neighbor”. Not what you think! Basically you have 4 quarters to play with and depending on how well you do is how long you keep your quarters. Well Lu was about the first person out – no luck when it comes to cards. But the rest of us stayed in pretty long until near the end. We all had a good time and would do it again. Thanks to Chapter B for inviting us and hope to see them at some of our events.
