Hello again. I hope everyone has gone on some good rides. I have one question, what’s with all this rain???? I don’t think we went one week this Spring that it hasn’t rained a couple of days. That’s because not only does it make for a miserable ride, but I have to cut the grass more often. I would rather be sitting on the bike then on the lawnmower! |

Russ put the new wheels on my bike, and I went for a ride and after a couple of miles I was so dead tired that my legs ached. Why did I throw away my old bike??. I found out later that the brakes were touching the wheels which made it harder to pedal. I was riding on the Nor-Bath trail and Russ was running so I didn’t see him. Well I decided to go home because I was so tired. I couldn’t wait to get home and soak in the Jacuzzi.

On Sunday May 17th, there was a Make A Wish Poker Run that started at Renegades Classic. It didn’t look good in the morning but an hour before registration opened it cleared up. So Lu and I headed out and met up with Russ and Jay. Sad to say only about 100 bikes, including A.R.M. who sponsored this ride showed up. Did a little shopping and then we decided to try the ride. Jay told us there were 5 bikes who wanted to join us and since we were the only 2 up - guess who led and navigated? And yes Karen we took a lot of "scenic routes."
